THE ACCEPTABLE SACRIFICE

From April 30, 2014

This morning, I awakened to the words Cain and Abel, so I opened my notebook and wrote today's date, April 30, 2014 and the words Cain and Abel. I immediately looked at the date and remembered that the number 30 symbolizes DEDICATION.

Then my thoughts went to the ALTAR, the place of dedication and slaughter. It's the place where sacrifices and offerings were offered up to the LORD. The place where the flesh is slaughtered and slain so that what remains, the Spirit, is offered up to God, a pleasing, sweet savour unto the LORD.

It's a snapshot of Calvary, the cross, that each of us must bear in order to be that acceptable offering to the Father. It is in the example of what it is to be in Yahushua. If any man follow after Me, he must first deny himself, pick up his cross and follow Me, is what He taught and demonstrated with His life. Matthew 16:24

Cain and Abel were brothers (brethren) and the day came when God looked upon their sacrifices. Abel was a keeper of the sheep, a shepherd, who was led by the Spirit of God, who obeyed God, and offered up that which was pleasing to God. Cain, on the other hand, was a tiller of the ground. We know that the ground was cursed and what Cain offered to God is symbolic of the work of His own hands, the product of His own toil and God rejected it.

Although Cain's offering was not of pleasure unto God, God offered Cain an opportunity to change his course — a course correction so to speak. Instead of Cain repenting and turning from his way to God's way, he rejected God and then sought to slay his brother.

God is bringing correction and a separation between those who truly worship Him and those who do as they please and think it pleasing unto the LORD. He desires and will have worshippers who worship Him in Spirit and in truth according to John 4:24

Here is the Word from the LORD:

From April 30, 2014

Yes daughter, you see. Now is the time to make the distinction. More of a separation. What is pleasing to Me? Man can no longer offer as they please. What is pleasurable to Me is that which I have spoken, that which I require of My creation — to worship Me by the Spirit and according to truth.

I said if you be lukewarm, I will spew you out of my mouth. So many are lukewarm, thinking that they can offer unto God that which they have fashioned. Their wares and marketplace trinkets are of no pleasure or acceptance to Me. Where is My burnt offering? A sacrificed life, crucified life, a sweet savour? Will man still walk contrary to Me without consequence? Surely not, My child.

Yes, I spoke of Cain and Abel. Abel sought My good pleasure, while Cain sought his own. Does not My word say that I reward them that diligently seek Me?  How can I reward disobedience and that which resides outside of My will? In diligence, one would come to know My will. In love, one would seek to do My will. Not so with My children. They have fashioned Me after themselves. Should I, the God of all creation be reduced to a figment of man's imagination, vain imagination? Not so! I reward faithfulness.

Now recompense and judgment comes, just as it was with Cain and Abel. I shall judge the brethren. I will reward faithfulness. Those whom I bring a word of correction should be careful not to respond as Cain. He sought after My pleasure in His own manner, then sought to slay his brother. The same is available now as it was with Cain. Do the first works that I set before you, and offer Me an acceptable sacrifice, and I too will receive of you. The days of doing it your way is over.

My kingdom come. My will be done. On earth as it is in heaven. You shall worship Me as thine ought, in Spirit and in truth or you shall not worship Me at all. Most of what is offered up is as a sour smell in the nostrils of your God.

Put away the ways of the heathen and the pagan and learn the truth of My word. I Am a God of truth not tradition, rote and ritual. I desire a sacrifice of praise and worship according to truth. No matter how you dress up a lie, it's still false in My sight. I charged My house to judge the poor and needy among them, yet they pillage them and strip them naked and leave them as refuse. I say NO MORE.

The poor and the needy, the widow and the fatherless are looked after by Me continuously. Many of them will hold what you need, for the consequences you shall suffer. The last will be first, the first shall be last. I will have a house of prayer.

There is much work to be done as the end approaches. My people are not prepared for My return. I must have a bride without spot or wrinkle, lest she be a castaway. Put away your fornications, your harlotries, adulteries, lying and stealing and buy of Me precious gold — righteousness only I can give. Return and do the first things lest you perish, says the LORD.

I have raised up a standard within My chosen who will not deny Me that which I seek after. Now I will call them to the front lines to serve. My people will be shepherded according to My heart, no longer shall they be feeble, but healed and nourished by My words.

No more prepared speeches of man, but those who speak under the anointing, to bring forth the gospel that convicts and transforms. NO MORE, I say to this watered down form of stand up entertainment with hireling performers. NO MORE!

I am holy as are My words. It is written that no man should add to or remove from My words, yet it is done and offered up to Me. How absurd? Now truth shall come forth. Yes, I have My own flame throwers who My words burn within them. They shall come forth and speak and call fire down from heaven. I will honor their words, as they know to ask in My name. My army, My chosen Branch – Oh how glorious.

I Am the LORD, and it's beyond time for playing games. Now the tried and true come forth to declare My name. It is written and so shall be accomplished, says YHWH.

Genesis 4:1-16

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13 And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
16 And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
