Here we are, at the beginning of a new week. On the brink of new discoveries and revelations. What stands out in my mind as I look back over last week is the level of excitement I've been experiencing.

The bible says that God "will restore the years that the locust has eaten and I will bring you out with plenty and you shall be satisfied." ~ Joel 2:25-26
My past robbed me of the opportunity to experience real excitement about my life. I felt there wasn't much to be excited about. My primary focus was on the anxieties around "what bad thing" would happen today...

But TODAY, through God's deliverance, healing and restoration, my life has been redefined. I live expecting "GREAT thing(s)" to happen. I find myself very excited about life and the YETs... I can relate it to the enthusiasm of what we often encounter in our younger years...

I find myself wanting to jump up and down when something awesome takes place in my life. I still feel the old butterflies in the stomach, I daydream, I shout out loud (in private; I'm not trying to get put away) and I'm ecstatic about the smallest of things.

So, I encourage you all to tap into the child in you. Redefine! Rediscover!
