I See by "Yours truly"

When I gaze into the glass
that peers back at me;
through distorted pupils,
I see
every flaw, every blemish;
Humanity; blurred by deficiency;
Immeasurably.

As I continue to stare
in hope of transition;
a shift; maybe a glimpse;
a refined definition
of the me I see.

Drawing near to the glass;
my eyes still affixed;
only to appreciate
how much I miss
the me,
I long to be.

But, when I adjust my perspective;
and look up toward heaven;
clearly, the likeness through the lens I see,
is a reflection
of divine perfection;
the image of Him who is and will always be
the only standard of measure;
Essentially.

Suddenly…
Revelation;
a deeper observation
amends my speculation;
my to be is farrrrrrrr greater
than what was or is.

Now in retrospect, I see
His trademark:
Crafted In Love
by the One above...
Intimately;
staring back at me.
