December 27, 2014 I am sharing a song that was shared with me during fellowship with a dear friend and sister. I listened to it again this morning and it is befitting the time, and sends the message on the heart of our Father, He wants it all.  What is it that He could ask that we would not be willing to give? Is He not the one who gave it all? I had a conversation online with another sister yesterday who made mention of pride and materialism. When I awoke this morning I pondered those two words more carefully. Pride is when we think more highly of ourselves than we ought. The bible says it comes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18). Pride also positions us in a place of opposition to the Father, for God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).  Materialism is tied to the God of mammon, and gives way to idolatry.
