Malachi 4:1
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:1
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
This morning in prayer, the Lord was a bit different, different than I am accustomed to. He seemed very somber, but calm, yet full of emotion. It was as though He was fed up, but was holding back the display of His anger or frustration. Yet as He shared, I knew He was settled in His decision of what must be.
Here is the word He gave me this morning:
Daughter, My children are harlots, charlatans, thieves, prognosticators, fornicators, adulterers. They mix and mingle with the world and think it honorable to do so. They have erected images of themselves as gods that stand before Me, proud, yet use My name to do such filth.
Who am I that man can profane My name and I not respond, I not repay? Today is the day. I shall turn the tables in favor of My Beloveds. I have sent forth warning after warning yet they continue in their own way. WOE unto them who thinketh themselves right in their own eyes, who stand afar and extend their hands while continuing to give their hearts over to malice and foolishness. Am I not God?
Yes, My word says that I will be merciful and compassionate to whom I choose, but I Am God. I sit in heaven upon My throne and do as I please. Had My children sought after Me, then they would know what pleases their God Instead they seek to pleasure themselves with no regard for Me, and no regard for one another. You would think they would see sin as an affront, an offense to Me, NO, instead of encouraging repentance, it is smoothed away as though I've changed My mind about such things. Now they will know their God for many have redefined My name. Foolish, I say.
The wise sought after Me with their whole hearts. Many have sacrificed it all for the cause of Christ. I come to redeem My faithful from the pits and prisons that man created, in rejection of them who I sent among them to live as I commanded.
Know this My faithful, My faithful — them who keep the commandments of their God out of love, they who seek Me for the grace to do as I desire, not use it as an excuse not to — them shall I reward.
Justice is served, says God. It is served up in judgment. Judgment from the Almighty.
I shall overturn the tables of the thieves and money changers. I shall pillage the houses of them who filled them with the blood of My sheep. My vengeance, for My indignation is hot and to the full for all I have witnessed. And where is My repentance? Where is My glory?
Repentance is but a byword and they seek to steal My glory with their vain deceits. I Am the LORD, and My very first commandment is broken, for man has made himself their god. So Beloved, now it comes. Judgment in the day of the LORD.
Now My demonstrations come. Great separation and a time of distinction. Many who sought after the accolades of man, of the world, have received their reward, but My hidden ones, those who I raised up in obscurity, they seek only after Me, they who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. I have spoken time and again. My words fallen upon many deafened ones. Now every eye shall see. The fulfillment of every word written and spoken. The end of all things.
Keep sober, remain vigilant, for I am come and in the midst of My people to render My judgments. It is set — yes established, says the LORD. Yahweh is My name! The just shall live by faith.
