REPOST: Harvest Part 4 >> Separation (con'td)

REPOST: June 22, 2014 from June 22, 2013 As I reviewed the first three parts that the Lord led me to share, He added another piece as it pertains to SEPARATION. SEPARATION / DIVISION also carries a theme of DISTINCTION: In Genesis 1:3-4 , on the first day of creation,  3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Here we see God giving the very first command, the first recorded word of God spoken and He speaks to light and it was, then He separates, divides the light from darkness. He made a distinction between light and darkness and called the light good.  good (H2896: towb): good, pleasant, agreeable, excellent (of its kind), rich, valuable in estimation, appropriate, becoming, better (comparative), glad, happy, prosperous (of man's sensuous nature); good understanding (of man's intellectual nature); good, kind, benign; good, right (ethical); a good thi

WHEAT & TARES: THE SEPARATION

From June 22, 2013 In my post about Observations and Revelation in numbers, I explained the duality of the number two (2). It's symbolism is shared on both sides of the spectrum, good and not so good. Let us be reminded it's all for God's purpose:  Unity   Separation and Division This post will be focused on SEPARATION and DIVISION.

REJECTION IDENTIFIED (part 2)

From June 22, 2013
In the previous post, I made mention of REJECTION as a tare sown, bringing about discord. REJECTION is the tare, the seed of discord sown that hinders love. Love is a fruit of the Spirit and CANNOT be obtained in the flesh. Our feelings, passions, desires, intellect, will, memory, experiences, etc., are a part of the soul. The heart (what we feel) and mind (what we think) are the functions of the soul. discord:  lack of agreement or harmony, dissension, conflict Peace is harmony, being in a place, a position of agreement with God. SIN is a hindrance to that harmony, and must be dealt with. REJECTION isn't the sin, but it is a tare that can potentially lead to REBELLION, which is defined as iniquity in the scriptures.

WHEAT & TARES: REJECTION IDENTIFIED

From June 22, 2013. I hope to share the revelation the Father gave me regarding the wheat and tares, separation and harvest.  For the sake of this post,  I will attempt to elaborate on the tare identified as REJECTION. I may touch upon some personal aspects of my life, with some hope that the transparency will be a blessing to someone else. Suggested reading is the Parable of the Four Soils in Matthew 13. This particular day, I woke up with much complaint and discontentment. As I went to the Lord, I felt justified in my complaint, "Lord, why do I have to go through so much" — the whole spiel. I read my devotional and it spoke about thanking God for hardship, trouble and trials. I was not feeling that. No sir! As a result, I continued my conversation with the Lord and here is what He revealed to me. What happened for many of us, very early on, was that the enemy sowed tares. The bible tells us this in Matthew 13:25. As mentioned, the tare we will examine for

Song for the day: THIS IS IT!

Brothers and sisters, just a quick share today. I've been hearing the song, This Is It by Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald. As I prepared to hit the couch and do some studying, I hear the song again, so I looked up the lyrics. I would really love to hear how it speaks to each of you. We all know that the Father speaks however he chooses. Love and blessings! "This Is It" There've been times in my life I've been wonderin' why Still, somehow I believed we'd always survive Now, I'm not so sure You're waiting here One good reason to try But, what more can I say What's left to provide (You think that maybe it's over) (Only if you want it to be) Are you gonna wait for a sign, your miracle Stand up and fight (This is it) Make no mistake where you are (This is it) You back's to the corner (This is it) Don't be a fool anymore (This is it) The waiting is over, no, don't you run No way to hide No time f

Do We Blaspheme God's Name?

June 13, 2014 I woke up this morning and the scripture Romans 2:24 was in my spirit. I gathered my bible, notebook and pen and proceeded to my prayer closet. I immediately opened up to Romans 2 and read the entire chapter.  Romans 2:24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. Let's examine the verse a little more closely.

HIS STILL SMALL VOICE: June 7, 2014 Words from the LORD

June 7, 2014 This morning the Lord literally gave me two words: 1. Regeneration 2. Restoration These are not words that I am unfamiliar with, but when you search out the definitions, they bring so much more to light, especially with this amazing time we are in. I don't believe these words introduce anything new, but bring confirmation to words already given, spoken and received. I hope you find them to be as uplifting and encouraging as I. God bless you!

Did You Make a Vow Unto the Lord? Pledges | Vows

June 4, 2014 A sister in the Lord made mention of my post on June 1 st and the word pledge. As I prepared for prayer, the word pledge again was brought to my remembrance. So I examined it further.  Definitions: pledge (H6162: arabown) pledge, security from (H6148: arab) in the sense of exchange – to pledge, exchange, mortgage, engage, occupy, undertake for, be or become surety, take a pledge, give in pledge. LEXICON: to mix, kindred, to interweave, to be surety for the life of another, to pledge one's life, to expose it to imminent danger. WEBSTERS: pledge : a serious promise or agreement, something that you leave with another person as a way to show that you will keep your promise. With the definitions before me, I immediately thought of pledge as a vow , so I pursued that path. WEBSTERS: vow: a serous promise to do something or to behave in a certain way. A solemn promise or assertion. Specifically. one by which a person is bound to an act, servic
