It's Time to Prepare! REPENT for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

People of God, it's time to prepare for the return of Jesus Christ, our soon and coming King. It's time to prepare for eternity. The acquisition of the things of this world (temporal) have no bearing or impact on where we will spend eternity. Houses, cars, titles, positions, are not the criteria for entering into the kingdom of heaven.

The kingdom of heaven is built on principles; godly principles found in the word of God. Jesus taught the kingdom in the book of Matthew and displayed the kingdom in His earthly ministry.

Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle.

Ephesians 5:25-27 reads,"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."

A "church" comprised of the [ekklesia] defined as the called out ones, a people 'set apart'; called out of the world, carnality and worldliness, separate and consecrated unto the Lord.

A church without spot or wrinkle — a direct correlation to holiness. Holy is defined as dedicated or consecrated to God, sacred, devoted to the service of God.

Absolute opposition to holiness is sin. God has not changed His position on sin... He is HOLY and we are made in the image of God [Elohim: Father, Son and Holy Spirit]; according to His likeness — Genesis 1:27, and to imply that God tolerates sin is in direct opposition to His very own nature.

I often hear quoted, "We are all sinners, saved by grace." Yes we are, but saved speaks to being rescued, delivered from the prior | original state noted as sinner. At the point of salvation, we become saints; saints gifted with the seed | DNA of God —the Holy Spirit—whose role in redemption is to sanctify, cleanse and purify us.

It is the water and the washing of the word that produces transformation in our lives. Salvation indeed is just the beginning. In order for the Holy Spirit to function in His role as sanctifier, we must feed our Spirit man with spiritual food — The Word of God.

TRANSFORMATION (to change form); implies a from state and to state; (from sinner to saint to overcomer). Reading, studying, hearing the word of God provides us with knowledge (the information), it's the DOING of the word of God that transitions and transforms us; enables us to walk in wisdom (the application of the information).  CHANGE is progressive, we should not remain the same; we go from glory to glory.

If we believe in our hearts that through Christ Jesus we are saved; we become saints who strive to be overcomers, then we will possess the corresponding thoughts and actions that support that word.
Such a precious gift from the Father and the ultimate sacrifice of the Son made at Calvary, warrants a life of love, devotion and commitment from the receiver of this gift — us; the saints.

Why then would we continue to call ourselves according to the old nature; the sin nature? The truth is that we will say and do what we believe in our hearts. The bible says, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Prov 23:7

If we continue to call ourselves sinners, then that lifestyle is what we come into agreement with. It's time to bring our thoughts and actions into alignment with our created image - Genesis 1:27 and allow the word of God by the Spirit of God to transform us into that image.

If Jesus was to come back today, in what state would we be found?

It's time to get our houses (spiritual) in order, for no man know the day or the hour (Ma 24:36), but the signs are evident!

REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND. It's Time to Prepare!

    1. Amen, Sister in the LORD and we know that the "LORD" is all about redemption, reconciliation and restoration. His gift of Jesus Christ the epitome of redemption is proof of His great love for us. Far be it for us to mock, pimp, and misuse the very Word (John 1:1) who was sent to set the captives free!
